SHORT FORM EDITING TOOLS

We’e all about helping creators do more of what they love. Part of that is by providing resources and tools that’ll help save you time. Especially when it comes to editing.

  • Edits: Good in theory, poor in execution (for now, at least). Have you tried it? Do you like it? Luckily, we’ve been seeing constant social media updates for the Edits app. However, our Creator Roundtable mentioned issues while using it:

    • Fails to export

    • Glitching export: Check out Racer On Demand’s reel to see the glitch. Some people think it looks cool!

  • We also posted a story poll “Have you tried Edits” where 58% said “Yes, but too many bugs.” So we compiled a list of some alternatives.

  • CapCut: CapCut is an all-in-one creative platform powered by AI that enables video editing and image design on browsers/phones, Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS.

    It’s by far the favorite among creators that we’ve seen.

  • Videoleap: Videoleap simplifies social media video creation. Start from scratch or with a trending template and create impactful videos.

  • Adobe Premiere Rush: Adobe Premiere Rush is the free mobile and desktop video editing app for creativity on the go.

    Fun, intuitive, and as fast as social media, it’s the easiest way to star in your followers’ feeds.
